About Author / Crafter

Siren Book & Craft is owned by me, Neri Lopez.
I came up with the name because my full name
means ‘Greek mermaids’ and siren is also my name spelled backwards.

I've worn many hats as a stay-at-home mom of triplets, graphic designer,
and high school teacher (Spanish, Art, and Graphic Design).
I live in Florida with my husband, grown kids, and our fur babies,
Mocha and Chewy.

Not only do I write books, I'm also a crafter of all trades including,
jewelry making, knitting, crocheting, sewing, scrapbooking, and painting.

I attend several craft shows a year selling my crochet and knitting products, as well as, my books.

I started The Path Series over thirty years ago before I had my triplets. But I put it aside because life happened. This series began with my love and respect for the Oglala Lakota culture.
